Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery
Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery is a surgical-based speciality.
Plastic Surgery focuses on the reconstruction of a part of the human body for medical or aesthetic reasons and includes both Reconstructive and Aesthetic branches.
· Reconstructive Plastic Surgery aims to correct lesions, malformations, or acquired injuries by repairing and/or reconstructing an area of skin, as well as the underlying tissue, due to an accident, illness, congenital anomaly, or even ageing.
· Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is generally sought by those who wish to improve their facial and/or body appearance.
This surgical speciality and the anaesthetic techniques applied have evolved considerably over time, offering greater safety and faster patient recovery.

ABDOMINOPLASTY
As this procedure aims to improve body contour harmony, it is often combined with Liposuction of localised fat in other parts of the body.

BLEPHAROPLASTY
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty) is ideal for reversing signs of ageing around the eyes, both on the upper and lower eyelids, by removing excess skin and fat.

FACE LIFTING
Facial Lifting (Rhytidectomy) is a surgical and aesthetic procedure involving the face and neck to reduce or even eliminate visible signs of ageing by restoring the position of the deep facial tissues and removing excess skin.

GLUTEOPLASTY
Gluteoplasty is the surgical procedure performed to enhance the buttocks. An incision is made in the upper part of the intergluteal fold, that is, the upper area between the buttocks, concealing the scar, where the surgeon creates a pocket for the placement of the implant.

LIPOSUCTION / LIPOSCULPTURE
Liposuction can be performed on various parts of the body, including the thighs, arms, neck, waist, back, inner knee, chest, cheeks, chin, legs, and ankles.
The Vibroliposuction technique uses a vibratory mechanism to facilitate the removal of fat.

OTOPLASTY
Otoplasty is a surgical procedure to correct prominent ears, reducing the angle between the ear and the head through cartilage reshaping.

BREAST SURGERY
Mammoplasty is breast plastic surgery aimed at changing their size or shape. Mammoplasty may involve augmentation, using silicone implants, or reduction, through the removal of breast tissue.
- AUGMENTATION
Depending on the plastic surgeon's recommendations and with the patient's consent, breast implants for volume enhancement may be placed in various areas within the breast region.
- REDUCTION
Breast reduction surgery involves surgically reducing the size and weight of the breasts. Beyond its aesthetic benefits, this procedure helps relieve or eliminate back pain and shoulder strain.
- MASTOPEXY
Breast lift surgery consists of reducing excess skin and reshaping the breast tissue to achieve a more harmonious result in proportion to the rest of the body.
