Dermatology is the medical speciality dedicated to the diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes. It also includes sexually transmitted diseases (venereal diseases).

The Dermatology Unit at Baía de Cascais Clinic operates daily and treats numerous skin conditions, namely acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, skin tumours, autoimmune and allergic diseases, mole observation and recording, and aesthetic dermatology (laser hair removal, peels, botulinum toxin, fillers, cellulite treatment, and hyperhidrosis management).
