Osteopathy is a science that seeks to restore the functionality and balance of the body, in order to improve the individual's quality of life. It uses manual techniques that allow the body to create its own restoration instruments, supported by scientific knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of the body.
It is a Non-Conventional Therapy (NCT), practised by professionals qualified with the title of Specialist and licence issued by ACSS – Central Administration of the Health System.
